The lyric festival in the Arena

Also known as Arena di Verona Opera Festival, it is an event with lyrical and musical opera events appreciated worldwide.

The shows are held during the summer months in the ancient amphitheater under the starlight.

The first performance took place on August 10, 1913, with Aida of Giuseppe Verdi to celebrate the centennial of the artist's birth.

Every year at the Arena di Verona renews the marriage between art, culture, and history, in a unique setting: the Roman amphitheater recognized around the world as one of the greatest opera stages from the point of view.

Aida, Carmen, Turandot and Madama Butterfly are just some of the plays performed over the last few years, even for the renowned master's hand.

Not only opera, in the magnificent setting of the Arena, held performances and concerts by internationally renowned artists.
